I love making the family name boards especially when I know they will find a special place in someone's home. I love it even more when I get to make them for friends and it is even better when I get to be creative in the process!. My friend Kristin is getting married in October and I wanted to make her a special gift. Kristin and I met at Furman and she is someone you want to be friends with the minute you meet her. Kristin has had an amazing year. Not only did she finish her PhD but she also met the man of her dreams! I love a girl who can multi-task :) Kristin is a HUGE Kentucky fan and the only downfall to her romance was that her beau is a Carolina man. AH! What is a girl to do? Well, it seems she and Jeremy have worked through their differences and hopefully will just have separate TVs during basketball season. The wedding colors are navy and aqua and so I came up with this. I am so happy for her and Jeremy!!
