I have been working on a bunch of custom orders for kids. As a parent, I love doing items for kids and envisioning them hung in their rooms, where they see these important words every day.

My friend Joanna asked me to create this board with her little girl's life verse. I love everything about this board- love the pink, love the fonts, LOVE her name and most importantly I love the message. Blessings to you sweet Charlotte Mae!

I see "blank" things now and all sorts of ideas come to mind about how I could decorate it! My son Jack had his first soccer game today so I made these water bottles for the kids on their team- the Bumblebees. I love how they turned out! Kids love having their name on stuff especially when they are learning to spell like mine.

My friend Renee had a bday this week so I made this for her. I am loving my acrylic cup with straw. I think I drink more water because the cup is so cute and who doesn't love a straw? These would make great teacher gifts, neighbor gifts, Happy Fall gifts,etc! They are $12 each and can be done in any color and various fonts.

I had a customer contact me about doing the board below for a wedding gift to his wife! They are getting married today- 9.10.11 and he wanted to give her this and a family name board to her before the ceremony. Their wedding colors are yellow and grey so I did it to match. I was honored to do this one and think it is so sweet!

While I was visiting my parents in Knoxville, I did the board below for their outdoor fireplace. Their backyard is one of my favorite places to be!

My neighbor Ellie has a great etsy site where she sells all sorts of adorable party decor. She had a customer who was doing a Barbie party for her daughter and Ellie asked me to create a welcome sign for the party. We came up with this. The black part on the bottom is chalkboard vinyl where a birthday message could be written and then erased so the board could be hung in a bedroom or playroom after the party!

How beautiful are these pictures? My friend Sara Davis is an amazing photographer! She managed to get great Christmas pics of my 4 yr old, 1 yr old and 5 day old last year- not an easy feat! I wanted to get a few shots of the boards professionally photographed so we teamed up to make boards for a few of Sara's recent clients. I love how the pics turned out! I love making the family name boards especially when I know they will find a special place in someone's home. I love it even more when I get to make them for friends and it is even better when I get to be creative in the process!. My friend Kristin is getting married in October and I wanted to make her a special gift. Kristin and I met at Furman and she is someone you want to be friends with the minute you meet her. Kristin has had an amazing year. Not only did she finish her PhD but she also met the man of her dreams! I love a girl who can multi-task :) Kristin is a HUGE Kentucky fan and the only downfall to her romance was that her beau is a Carolina man. AH! What is a girl to do? Well, it seems she and Jeremy have worked through their differences and hopefully will just have separate TVs during basketball season. The wedding colors are navy and aqua and so I came up with this. I am so happy for her and Jeremy!!

A childhood friend of my hubby's called to order a board for a family who just had twins. These babies were prayed for for a long time and so we came up with the board below.

I have been having fun with some new projects and I love the way this family rule subway art turned out! It is a wood sign measuring 2 ft tall and 1 ft wide. It can be done in any color wood and vinyl. Of course, it would be your family name instead of mine :) The signs are $45. If you would like to edit/change the rules, the sign would be $55.
